How to Prevent Primary DB Deletes on Target
Hi , can anyone please advise me how to Suppress / Prevent the Deletes that applied on a Primary Database by a Specific User or login , replicating to Target Database ?
To Be more precise - let's imagine I've a ASE1 (primary) and ASE3 (replicate data server). 1. I want all activities done by a user / login called 'production' on a primary database to be happily replicated onto Target (i.e ASE3) 2. I DO NOT WANT the UPDATE or DELETE s performed by a user called 'adhoc' on Primary , be replicated onto Target. However, the Inserts can go to target. I wagely recall function strings could do some tricks here. but not really sure actual way of doing that. Please someone can advise or direct me to any doc that I can refer. Gracious |
